I would like to have the domain unication.org disconnected from WordPress.com

    Dear Support,
I’m moving my blog to a self hosted WordPress site.
I’ve deleted the domain unication.org at my wordpress.com site unication.wordpress.com and changed the DNS to the proper settings for my host.
Still 24 hours after those changes, my new site will only sporadically show up on unication.org and most of the time show up with the text:
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”
When checking out the back-end at unication.wordpress.com (Settings > Domains) there is a mention to “Please contact support if you wish to delete a registered domain.”
I thought it was enough to just delete the domain in the upgrade store?
    What else is needed?
    Blog url: http://unication.wordpress.com

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • http://unication.org/ is properly directing elsewhere.

When a new domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
