I would like to insert google adsense into my website. How do I do this?

  I have attempted to do the WordAds, but am still waiting for a response. I have a google adsense account that I would like to use, but have never done so before. How do I go about adding this to my page?

  Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:

  If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.   Regarding your WordAds application, our advertising partners do have a minimum traffic threshold. Looking at your page views, it’s not possible to earn meaningful earnings given your traffic levels. A site generally needs thousands of page views each month to earn meaningful earnings. As your traffic grows we will continue to apply to get ads activated, there is no need to re-apply.

  I want to strongly emphasize sharing your blog with your friends and family. If they like it, they’ll share it with their friends, and so on.

  http://jqueensblog.org/ is a WordPress.com blog, not a self-hosted WordPress.org blog.

  That pays for adding the domain name to your WordPress.com blog. Having a WordPress.org blog is very different.

  You would need to install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ on a hosting provider. We have some recommendations at http://get.wp.com/hosting/

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

  It’s not too much of a waste. You have a unique identity now with a domain, and if you do decide to move to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, you can still keep it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/
