Hello @mrnobodyatall,
When you login to your WordPress.COM account. You can access your admin/dashboard by clicking on My Sites on the top left corner. If you are referring to the old dashboard/admin page you can access that by adding wp-admin at the end of your URL. Like this: https://mrnobodyatall.wordpress.com/wp-admin
Also, does it make a difference if I have a WP blog or WP site ?
Read this detailed answer by @timetheif that explains the difference between a WP blog and a site: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/newbee-whats-the-difference-between-a-website-and-a-blog?replies=3
Hope this helps 🙂

Hi there,
I would like to know why I do not have an admin page on my my WP site please.
WordPress.com uses the new Dashboard (Calypso) found at https://wordpress.com/ . If you wish to access the classic Dashboard (WP Admin) add /wp-admin/ to the end of your site’s URL (http://mrnobodyatall.wordpress.com/wp-admin/)
Also, does it make a difference if I have a WP blog or WP site ?
It depends on your needs. You can use WordPress.com to create both. For definition’s sake, a blog is a type of website that shows the newest content at the top of the page.
