I would like to make some extra ad revenue on my wordpress site

I want to have the feature to support ads to make some money. I have a domain that I have tried to transfer over to wordpress many times and I was not successful. Please let me know what I can do to help but I am confused as to how to successfully transfer over a domain. I registered my domain through register.com.

If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
