  Mathematica CDF files contain interactive material. If the user has a copy of the CDF player installed (it is available for free at http://www.wolfram.com/cdf-player/) you can interact with a cdf file using any browser. Since WordPress posts operate through a browser it occurred to me that it might be possible to post a cdf file in the same way as you would an image for the reader to interact with in the WordPress window. Perhaps you would consider arranging that. Many of your bloggers are mathematicians and scientists who might like to use it.

  Unfortunately, we can only allow a few types of files for security reasons, and CDF is not one of those at this time.
