I would like to redirect my blogger posts directly to their new wordpress

  I would like to redirect my blogger posts directly to their new location on wordpress- can you help me with that? I found this http://wordpress.org/plugins/blogger-to-wordpress-redirection/ but i don’t think it willl work on .com as I’m hosted through wordpress

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  In order to redirect URLs from Blogger to WordPress.com, you will have to adjust your settings over at Blogger. If you don’t have access to a post/page redirect in your Blogger dashboard, you should contact their customer service to put in the request.

  No I understand how to redirect the entire blogger site over, what I’m trying to do is directly redirect each post to each new location on wordpress. I think its only possible if i self-host

  Hi again,

  First, you are correct that the plugin won’t work here at WordPress.com. You’d need a self-hosted site to install any third-party plugins.

  I need some more information from you to best troubleshoot your question. You mentioned wanting to “redirect each post to each new location on wordpress.” Are you planning on keeping your Blogger site live, maintaining duplicate content on both servers? If so, is that in order to keep an archive of your site? Could you give me a sample link from your old site about which you’re concerned? The more details you can give me about the function you need, the more accurately I can help.

  Blogger will remain live with no new content as it still gets a lot of traffic and it will be an archive. But I want to set it up like that plug in would’ve allowed so that if I click on old article “X” on blogger it automatically redirects to that same article “X” on wordpress (I transferred all my old posts over)

  side note- none of the embedded soundcloud tracks transferred over- is there any way to fix that?
