I would like to remove mapped domain from my site.

    Hi. I’m in a bit of trouble and need some help.

    I’ve mapped the domain thecureiv.com to my WordPress.com site. I no longer want that domain mapped to the site and would like it to go back to thecureiv.wordpress.com

    I’m already using the domain thecureiv.com with a new site so anytime I try and view anything on this wordpress.com site it sends me to my new site.

    I hope that makes sense… I just really need thecureiv.com to not be mapped to my wordpress.com site.

    please help!

    Hi there,

    Under you dashboard go to,
    Domains > Change Primary > Select “thecureiv.wordpress.com”

    This should solve issue of redirecting your WordPress.com site to your .com domain.

    You also need to cancel domain napping subscription? Please confirm on that.

    Staff can help you to unsubscribe domain mapping. I am adding modlook tag to seek staff assistance on this.
