I would like to remove my old blog without harming my .com WordPress website

    I have a website managed through WordPress (www.clarkillustrations.com) & an old blog (clarkillustrations.wordpress.com). I would like to remove the old blog (clarkillustrations.wordpress.com) without harming my website (www.clarkillustrations.com). My main website also has it’s own integrated blog, so I don’t want that to be affected either (I transferred my old blog over years ago, but it didn’t remove the original blog, just moved the posts to the new integrated blog).

    I also recently added Jetpack and I believe it connects the aforementioned blog & website, but I’m unsure of how much Jetpack has to do with any of this.

    Can you help please?

    You can find step-by-step guides below that will help you remove a self-hosted WordPress site you had previously connected to your WordPress.com account thanks to the Jetpack plugin. https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/

    We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin. Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built into WordPress.COM blogs. A wordpress.COM account is required to run the Jetpack plugin, but we do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums. Please direct Jetpack issues to where they can get Jetpack support.

    You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
