  I would like to remove the sections on my website that say “categories” “archive” and “meta” but cannot figure out how! I do’nt want my website to look like a blog. Is this possible?

  Those are just default widgets. They appear when you don’t have any other widgets in place. To clear them out, just add a blank Text widget at Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard.
