I would like to request uploading a new theme

  A friend made a theme for me.

  I read you have to ask support for permission to upload new themes, which is what I am doing now.

  Could you please let me know what I have to do to achieve that?

  I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

  You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer.
