I would like to reset my site to default
-
I can not find how to reset my account to the default setting
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
There is no reset button. You simply undo whatever you have done.
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > Generalre: front page error message
There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ -

I am not looking to make a blog but a site to show my work.
I only need a few pages which I now have saved as drafts while working on them.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of “leave a reply’ at the bottom of each page and ‘created by wordpress with the team I have chosen’Any suggestions on a good youtube video how to set up an site regardless which theme you choose?
Thank you -

Hi there,
A blog is a website.
A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.
Any WordPress blog can be restructured from being post based to being page based – no upgrade required. For greater clarity read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/
Here’s a link to my step by step post too http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/07/25/create-a-wordpress-website-step-by-step/
Any suggestions on how to get rid of “leave a reply’ at the bottom of each page and ‘created by wordpress with the team I have chosen’
You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

comments and pingbacks disabled

http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/04/23/comments-off-1/Important Note: By default, new blogs on WordPress.com will have the Discussion hidden. You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules

Just this last thing! -
You cannot remove footer credit links. There is no upgrade that provides that ability.
Removal of footer credit links is a Terms of Service violation. Though removing footer credit links, which leads to the untrue assumption that you designed the theme and are hosting it yourself is not allowed, it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS if you have purchased the Business bundle or Premium bundle of upgrades containing the Custom Design upgrade. Then you can include styling credit if you have done any unique styling and/or include a copyright notice.

Premium bundle details http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/
Business bundle details http://store.wordpress.com/plans/business/Note that each upgrade bundle applies to a single blog only and is for a single year only when it is due to be renewed.
If you have purchased that upgrade please use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can copy and paste your text into a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need.
Added info:
If all you want to include is a copyright many bloggers do that by including a copyright notice in a text widget.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/prevent-content-theft/#1-include-a-very-clear-copyright-notice-on-your-blogSome like myself link that text widget notice to a copyright page like this one http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/copyright/
