I would like to start my page over.

i haven’t used this site in a few years and would like to begin using it again but with a different purpose and need to delete all the content but keep the name. What do i do next?

Hey! The easiest way to go about deleting all the content is to use the Start Over function; from the My Site control panel, go into Settings, then scroll all the way down and click Start Over; that will remove all current content, but keep your site active, so you can start over with a fresh slate.
If for whatever reason that doesn’t work, you can empty your site, but that requires a lot more work to delete every individual post and, page, category, tag and all files.

I did that but then it takes me to a “start over” page and says to contact support to have current content cleared out and a button that says “contact support” and when I click on it, it takes me to the page to post a new question in the public forum….

Ah, I hadn’t ever tried the Start Over button; I assumed it was a tool that did the same things as the link I posted.
You could take the steps listed here to empty your site manually; it’ll delete all your posts, pages, categories, images, etc. It’s a lot more time-intensive, but it’ll get you back to square one.
