I would like to talk to someone
-
Hi,
I’m trying to reactivate my domain name. I have also made some edits to my page and in doing so have managed to merge two pages into one. I can’t seem to separate them.
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

re: http://vidatemp.wordpress.com/
What is the URL of the site you are trying to access? It cannot be one you have deleted.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.
If the login information has been lost go to
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-passwordIf required use the account recovery form
https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ -
I’m using the same exact account I just missed paying the annual fee for my domain name…
So I’m just trying to renew -
You cannot renew anything that you allowed to expire. Be clear on that and know that you are asking to have Staff restore an expired domain. Read https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
We need details please.
1. What is the domain URL?
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?
5. When did the expiration take place?I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Also subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. HI there,
Is this for the domain, vidatemp.com?
That domain is currently in redemption with our registrar. That means we should still be able to get it back, but our registrar charges a $80 redemption fee to restore the domain at this point. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can start the process.
-
Wow!
Thanks for all of your help.
So appreciated.
It is for the domain VIDATEMP.COM
I am not sure which domain it’s linked to…
I think Vidatempdotcom1.wordpress.com??
As that is the only one with content that I can find at this point.
Thanks so much!

Hi Sam,
It’s not clear from your reply if you want me to try and recover that domain. Can you please confirm that you agree to the $80 redemption fee? Thanks :)
-
-
Thanks for confirming. I’ve sent you a payment link via email. Once we receive your payment I can email our registrar to restore the domain. Should the recovery fail, your payment will be refunded in full.
-
I have locked myself out of my account – how do i get back in it was built so long ago no longer have the verification codes required
-
@vidatemp
We’ve received your payment and I’ve emailed our registrar. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

@abigailathaidethespiceintuitive
In future, please start your own thread rather than posting into existing threads that are completely unrelated to the issue you need help with.
The only way to regain access to an old account is via the account recovery form. If you can’t provide the information required by the form to verify your details, we won’t be able to help you regain access.

@vidatemp
Your domain has been restored and is showing your site again.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
-
Thank you SO much!
There is one last thing.
Somehow on my header, 2 of my page buttons merged into a scroll down button.
“Looking for Employment” and “Looking for Staff”
How do I separate these back to 2 different buttons? -
It looks like you have Looking for staff set as a child page of Looking for Employment. To fix it, edit the Looking for staff page. Click on Page attributes and set the Parent option to No Parent.
