How can I cancel a domain with a typo when I didn’t upgrade it? When I was on my dashboard before I saw “elsastravelblogonparis.com. Don’t ask me how I got there…I certainly thought I had previously registered with wordpress.com; but it must have been through wordpress.org. (Could I have gotten onto my dashboard through wordpress.org?) The two similar sites are quite confusing.
Kindly tell me why I had been able to get to my dashboard with elsastravelblogonparis.com, and now I have to upgrade, paying $13, in order to get that name. Or no, I forgot, that’s to change my default domain, I have to pay $18 to get elsastravelblogonparis.com without wordpress after it. I honestly don’t get this, because when I was on my dashboard previously I didn’t see it. This may not sound like a lot of money to you, but I am not working and someone else has paid for my blogging expenses. I thought I understood what the initial expenses are, and every time I turn around there’s something else I have to pay for.
I know I am repeating myself. Kindly tell me how I was able to get onto my dashboard before and saw elsastravelblogonparis.com, and now I find I have to pay $18 to get rid of the wordpress after it. I never saw anything about this before. I thought I was getting online today to upload my new theme I bought, But I don’t dare do it until I figure out why I can’t cancel my misspelled domain with a typo, and why I would have to pay $13 to have elsastravelblogonparis.com as my default domain.

2) Do you want your site hosted on WordPress.com, or do you prefer to have a self-hosted site?

It looks like you have two WordPress sites. One is on WordPress.com. The site you have here is the one with https://elsastravelblog.wordpress.com/ as the URL.
You also have a self-hosted WordPress site. You access the dashboard for that site at:
http://www.elsastravelblogonparis.com/wp-admin.The dashboards do look similar because both sites are running WordPress software, but the second one is hosted at BlueHost.

To cancel the domain, you’ll have to contact your domain registrar. Based on what I see in your whois record, you registered the domain with http://www.fastdomain.com. Does that sound familiar?
