I would like to transfer my domain from Wix.com to wordpress,

    Hello ,
    How do I transfer my domain from Wix.com to wordpress,
    Wix send me a transfer authorization code on 17.01.21
    but it does not work. What do I do now?

    Hi there,

    Wix send me a transfer authorization code on 17.01.21

    It seems that this happened a while back, in January, therefore it expired already.
    Kindly go ahead requesting one again and go ahead with the transfer here at WordPress.com the soonest after receiving the new authorization code.

    Hi there,

    What is the domain you’re trying to transfer? I don’t see any attempted domain transfer purchases in the account you’re using to post here.

    Make sure the domain is unlocked at Wix. If it’s locked, it won’t transfer even if you have the correct code.

    It seems that this happened a while back, in January, therefore it expired already.

    Domain transfer codes, also called Auth Codes or EPP Codes, don’t expire, as they’re not generated only when someone requests them from their registrar. A domain transfer code is set at the registry the moment a domain is registered, and that code only changes if the registrar updates it manually for some reason, or after a domain transfer when the new registrar sets a new code at the registry.
