I would like to transfer my domain from wix to wordpress

My plan has expired from wix and I would like to switch over to wordpress, only I dont know how to migrate my site and transfer my domain.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t transfer domain from Wix to WordPress, you can only map it here. WordPress.com doesn’t currently accept incoming domain transfers.

Your domain can be transferred to WordPress.com by following these steps:

It’s worth noting that we can only accept domains with the following extensions at this time:

The design of your Wix site can’t be migrated over to WordPress.com, but there are lots of great themes to choose from in our theme showcase:
As far as I know, Wix doesn’t provide the option to generate an export file of your content so you may want to contact them to see if it’s something they are able to help with.

@iamrishaan — we recently launched the ability to transfer existing domains to WordPress.com. Domain mapping can be used in instances where the domain extension cannot be transferred to us :)

No problem @iamrishaan, I just wanted to let you know that transferring a domain to WordPress.com was an option now.
