I would like to transfer my email followers to my mailchimp account

  I would like to transfer everyone who has used the ‘follow blog’ widget to a mail chimp account. How can I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m afraid that’s not possible. They signed up for one thing, not the other.

  The solution I found is to download the CSV and upload it to your mailchimp account.

  I haven’t done it myself, but here’s where I found this suggestion.

  Relevant part:

  >Its under Dashbooard / Stats

  Go down to Total, Followers and Shares

  Find the section that says “Followers (includes publicize).

  Click on Blog

  Then on Email Followers

  Then click on Download all as CSV<<

  Note that this is illegal in several countries including Canada. If people sign up to follow your blog by email, it’s illegal to use that email address for any other purpose including newsletters and mailing lists.

  Raincoaster, thanks for the concern. I understand the illegal use of mail lists. My followers are few and mostly family and friends at this point.
  I added a mail chimp link as well as the ‘follow’ widget.
