I would liken to know about suspect subscribers.

  Just curious. I have had a lot of new subscribers lately, which is great. A lot have been other wordpress users, but when I try to look at their sites they don’t exist or just have the first page. Is this just another form of spam?

  As far as I can see your subscribers look fine. Not all of them have blogs, and I agree that some might look fishy but we can’t be sure. I’m afraid that it’s not possible to control your blog subscribers when you have a public blog. Although we will keep an eye out if we see similar reports to see if there’s a trend.
