  Hi. I just signed up for a domain name with Hostgator. I just went through the motions of transferring my blog from weightchangers.wordpress.com to my new name fastweightchange.com as my new blog name.

  I am not sure if I can sell affiliate products using a .com self-hosted blog. I thought I saw this somewhere sometime ago but I forgot all about it until I choose my blog name and register a short while ago.

  So, can I sell affiliate products and show ads from Google and others on fastweightchange.com?

  I need to hear from you as quickly as possible.

  It sounds like you would be better off with a self-hosted site using the software available on WordPress.org.
