I am using the Canard theme. I just started this blog and I can’t seem to get the page ‘About John’s stories’ to appear. Is this just a Canard thing or have I done something wrong.
And is there a guide as to where on my blog the different wigets are to go?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

re: my pages aren’t appearing
Please see https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ first.
They must be public pages – not private and not drafts.
Public – The page will be visible to everyone.
Protected – The page is protected with a password you set. Only people who have the password can view a protected page.
Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in Reader, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected.

The detailed theme description page with themes specific set up instructions is found here https://wordpress.com/themes/canard/
The live demo site is at https://canarddemo.wordpress.com/The support doc for widgets is here https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/

Thanks but it still doesn’t work. I have tried a lot of other themes and everything appears so I think it must be a thing with Canard. If I go to search and look for about it comes up.
Regarding widgets I mean is there a visual way I can tell where on the page each different sidebar is? -
Hi again,
I’m on my way off line as I have to meet a ferry. I tagged this thread for Themes Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. -
Sorry I don’t understand the terminology. I can see no sidebar but anyway I have decided to give Canard and have chosen another theme which suits my purpose nearly as well. I will see if I can find my way around this. When you get to be 70+ it is sometimes that others take it for granted that you are all up to speed with things. I know because I have three impatient children.
