i0.wp.com missing images
-
I’m actually having this same issue on a live page.
I have images hosted on Photobucket and I link to them in the page. 99% of the images have worked, but I have four very stubborn ones that give me the “Sorry this image has been moved or deleted” message even though they haven’t been moved.
This is the page in question: https://rikkaidai.wordpress.com/doujinshi/
I understand i0.wp.com is the photo caching. When I would right click on the Sorry image, it would have the i0.wp.com in front of the actual link to the image. If I removed that from the address bar I was taken to the image. The Sorry image is from Photobucket, I know, but that’s what was being cached by i0.wp.com.
Does it update regularly to check if the links are correct? If so, how long before those “Sorry” messages go away?
As I said in another thread, switching themes fixed this issue. I don’t know how or why, but it did.

That sounds like a photobucket issue. Please return to this thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/when-previewing-post-i0wpcom-appended-to-image-urls?replies=14#post-2330933 and post about this issue there only. Please do not keep creating duplicate threads.

Hi @rikkaidai,
It looks like the images on the following page are all now loading correctly for me:
Are you still seeing broken links on your side?
-
@jeremeylduvall, there’s nothing broken anymore on my end. As I mentioned above, switching themes seemed to reset the cache or something because everything showed up after that. I don’t know why, but that’s the solution I found.
