Hi there,
This is the Support document for Widgets:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/On the right hand side, you will see a list of Widgets. For example: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/upcoming-events/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/calendar-widget/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/eventbrite-event-calendarlisting-widget/Hope that’s helpful. :)

Thank you Mariah,
Yes the support document helped. I could install the widget. Now I have the widget up and linked to my google calendar. The problem is, that since after I changed the event in the calendar, the event is shown in my sidebar twice, once in the old, once in the new version.
Also removing the widget and setting a new one didn’t help. -
You’re welcome.
Did you get this figured out since asking? I took a look at your page and I didn’t see anything standing out as a duplicate.

Thank you for asking.
No, I still can see the events twice in my right hand menu. Once with a long description and once without the description. They also have slightly different titles, so I can imagine that they look as different events to you. -
Hmmm… I’m stumped. I see what you’re talking about, but can’t figure out why it’s displaying different dates if you didn’t insert them. You would think that it couldn’t be a duplicate since the dates are different. Right? ;) I do see it on the code side as well. Just not figuring out an explanation for it.
Is it showing on your Google Calendar as four separate events, maybe?

Ok, I thought it could be something to do with google calendar not refreshing correctly after an event change.
My solution is not elegant but practical. tired of the problem, I made a new calendar in google and linked it to the widget. Now everything is fine in the outcome. -
That really is strange how it was showing dates you hadn’t entered. Happy to see you’ve got it straightened out. ;)
