ICANN email verification completed, but still getting error that it isn't

I’m trying to migrate from wordpress.com to self-hosting.

Whenever I access wordpress.com/my-domains/ and go to “Name Servers”, I get an error message that I need to “verify your email address through the ICANN verification email”; but, I’ve done this and verified multiple times, and that message still appears. I haven’t been able to change my name servers for a couple of days now due to this error message. How can I resolve this?

    Hi there,

It can take some time for that email verification to go through and that message in the domain manager to go away. I just checked your domain and I see that the email address is verified and your domain’s name servers are updated to point to another web host.

I also visited your domain to double-check, and I see your new self-hosted site at the new host there. (It may take a little time for that change to take effect everywhere, so if you don’t see that change yet on your end please give it a little more time.)

If there’s anything more I can do to help, please let me know!
