icann permissions on my new domain?

  • Unknown's avatar

I think I might have meant to do something when I got my new domain installed bestvaluejewelry.org in terms of icann permissions, or not having verified my contact details or something. I got an email which I assumed was spam and deleted it, and I got a phone call from some Indian guy, and I thought that was spam as well, and hung up, but now I can’t find my website on a Google search, and I got this message on Firefox that my site didn’t have the right security permissions or something. What the hell is going on?

    Hi there,

I checked your domain bestvaluejewelry.org and there currently aren’t any issues with it that need your attention.

It can take some time for Google to update its search results when you register a new domain, so you may need to wait a few weeks to see that change. One way to check is to do a Google site search like this:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Abestvaluejewelry.org

If you see your site appear in that search, it shows you that Google has your site listed.

If you can share the exact message you got in Firefox, I can also look into that for you. Please be sure you are visiting your site at http://bestvaluejewelry.org/ and NOT at https://bestvaluejewelry.org/ (using https). If you visit it at the second address you may get a security warning.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
