Hi there! We’ll reach out to you via your email address to have this resolved for you.

I have no idea how my brentmpierce@gmail is now associated with the page.

I still want (email visible only to moderators and staff) to be the email for this site.

    Thank you for your help.

Site is up, but each time I publish a story via word press or Jetpack and auto share to Facebook, the post only displays a 404 Not Found link. Would love some assistance.

  • Hi there, this appears to be the email address you supplied while registering your domain. You can change it here if you wish: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/limestone-ledger.com/edit-contact-info/limestone-ledger.com

Site is up, but each time I publish a story via word press or Jetpack and auto share to Facebook, the post only displays a 404 Not Found link.

I’m not sure that I’ve understood this issue. I visited the Facebook page connected to your site (https://www.facebook.com/thelimestoneledger/) and when I click on links on Facebook posts I’m taken back to your site without issue. Are you clicking on something different than what I’ve tried? Are you clicking on the Facebook links from your browser? Or is this an issue with clicking links with the Facebook app itself?

    Thanks for the additional info!

I’ve taken down the posts that show no picture and have the 404 message. All link posts before the email issue work fine. Once the site was shut down, all posts now have that message.

I definitely set up this site with (email visible only to moderators and staff) address.

I’ve had a different wordpress site years ago with the other email address.

I just need my current site to have the limestone email address and for my FB posts to work.

When I check the site’s WHOIS, it shows the transfer prohibited issue. I’m assuming that’s why FB won’t allow the posts and will only show the 404.

  • Hi again,

If you spot a 404 message in a future Facebook post, please let us know (before you take it down) and share a link to the post in Facebook, so we can go over there and take a look. It’s likely you will not have this issue again since it sounds like it was happening during the period when your domain was temporarily suspended. Now that the domain is working Facebook links should as well.

Did you also update your email address here? https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/limestone-ledger.com/edit-contact-info/limestone-ledger.com

It’s not set to automatically sync with the email address you set here, and we are not able to change the info on your domain (only the domain owner can do this by law) so you will need to change it.

    Thanks!
