Icons are grayed out

On my website, when I try to edit my blurbs the icons are grayed out. How can I fix this?

Hi,
I tried all of your suggestions and the icons are still grayed out. When I first tried to edit the website, apparently I wasn’t on the right server. We transferred the website to another one and then the icons were gray.

Hmm, could you confirm whether you’re referring to realweirdness.wordpress.com ? Also, what are the blurbs you’re editing?

No, in realweirdness.wordpress,com I can see the icons but in realweirdness.com/wp-admin they’re grayed out. If I click on a paragraph I don’t see the icons for Bold, Italic …
