Icons in my Sorbet theme are not properly sized/positioned.
-
The social links icon and menu icon in my sorbet theme blog are not sized and aligned the way they should be. The search icon in my header is fine, but those two just seem to have an issue. Is there any way to fix this?

Have you consulted the live demo site here?

All icons are right aligned on the menu bar and center aligned when you click them and they open. -
I found that the icons look the same way in other peoples blogs under my browser, so I can only assume that is the problem. In my Internet Explorer(IE) browser they are not aligned. If you have an IE browser and this happens to you, have no fear, it is probably just a problem within the browser network.

Hi, I had set my follow icons (Facebook etc) in a text widget on the sidebar – however on the Sorbet theme, how do I ensure my social media icons revert to the Sorbet them style – hope this makes sense and that I have posted it in the correct area….

They will not move anywhere. What you post in the sidebar stays in the sidebar unless or until you post it elsewhere. To enter the URLs for the social networks you need to follow the instructions on the theme description page. Scroll down to “Social Links” here and follow the instructions provided http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sorbet/

Hey TT, thanks for the super quick response… Had not seen the instructions…oops, but now have another problem, have added the icons to the menu and can see the heart etc… but now when I click on the social media icon the drop down bar has my buttons and extras that I don’t need how to clean up and only have Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram?
I assume I can’t add the email contact on those icons? -
I have managed to make it work – thanks for the tips – I haven’t worked out if I can put an email contact icon on that menu bar
