I'd like a time-ordered list of all my blog posts
-
Hi,
What I would like is a front page to my wordpress site that shows a time-ordered list of all my blog posts, but this seems surprisingly hard to do. My site is hosted on the wordpress site (i.e. site.wordpress.com), and I can’t work out how to add the php code I need to make this work. Can anyone help me?
Mark
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use the Archives Shortcode to create an index of your posts, if you post something like
[archives type=postbypost]you'll get all of your posts listed from newest to oldest. There are a number of options, do you want a yearly, monthly, daily archive, or every post? Do you want the posts in a drop down menu, list form, with text before or after? Ascending or descending? Just go to the link below and find the right code?http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/
You can paste the code in a page, and then use these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ to create a static front page
