I'd like to create just regular web pages rather than blog page

  I’d like to create static pages that are just web pages and not blog pages but the reply box continues to appear at the bottom of the pages. I followed how to video on how to video but the results are different then those shown in the video. How do I create just regular web pages?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi nmecon,

  You can remove the comments from a page using the “Discussion” module when editing the page:

  

  You’ll need to scroll a little bit below the page editor. If you don’t see that module, go to your “Screen Options” and make sure Discussion is checked:
