I'd like to disconnect my web site, http://jayelliottphotography.com, from wp

I recently purchased a domain, http://jayelliottphotography.com, from go daddy. I set up hosting with word press imbedded. I signed into my account at http://jayelliottphotography.com/wpadmin. I planned to pick a pre made template for my web site, but that process was harder than I thought. I noticed that the jetpak feature would install multiple features to my web site, but to do so, I would need to connect my web site to wordpress.com. I did so, but now I would like to disconnect and have my domain back. Truthfully, I am new to this process and do not know how to go about it very well. What I want to do is have a potential client type in http://jayelliottphotography.com after seeing one of my business cards or my face book page, and be directed to a simple web site that has tabs for home, about, blog, galleries, links, and contact me. When someone clicks on galleries, I want my smug mug galleries to pop up for he or she to look at there and order from their list of products – they take care of credit card security, watermarking, shipping, printing and gift wrapping. Of course, I don’t mind if some (or all) of these things are powered by word press. I know word press has a good reputation, so that’s fine by me. What I don’t know is how to make all of this happen. How do I tie word press to go daddy to smug mug?

    Ok,

First things first: you’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com. http://jayelliottphotography.com is a self-hosted installation of WordPress, available at http://wordpress.org/

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
    http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You can find support for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress here:
    http://wordpress.org/support/
    http://codex.wordpress.org/

Second, installing Jetpack on your own WordPress does not “hijack” your domain. That and your WordPress installation are still yours, and still available.

You can do practically anything with WordPress. If you want to browse free themes, take a look at http://wordpress.org/extend/themes. You might find one you like.

As to the SmugMug question, and as with themes, WordPress has thousands of plugins available that you can install, including, as you can probably guess, several for integrating SmugMug with your site.
