I'd like to discuss whether WordPress can meet my needs for a website

    Would be it be possible for someone from wordpress to reach out to me at (email visible only to moderators and staff) to discuss a few queries I have regarding the needs I have for my website.

    I have a few queries that I’d like confirmation on before I move ahead with a paid plan.

    1- The nature of this my site will be strictly for internal use only, staff at the company I work for will be using it as a knowledge base.

    This being said I would need to restrict access to anyone outside of the company, can you offer insight on any solutions for this.

    2- I would also like to give the site to a team that can keep it up to date, would I be able to assign them as admins so that they can edit it whenever necessary?

    Or would they have to log into my account to do this?

    Hi Sam,

    1. There are two ways to do this. You can either set the site as private and only invite the company staff to it – they will need to create a WordPress.com account to do that, or you can try a membership plugin and restrict some content only to members. With a membership plugin, the users will be able to create their accounts directly on the site (not on WordPress.com).

    Plugins would require plan Business: https://wordpress.com/support/business-plan/.

    2. Yes, you can add other people as admins or editors so they can help you manage the site. Here’s more about that:

    With the Paid Plans, is there an upfront payment for a certain time period or can I simply pay on a month by month basis.
