I'd like to know if google web preview reading should ever be measured. r
-
I have attached to my blog a statcounter (statcounter.com). Recently, I noticed that there are people reading a lot of posts via google web preview – I mean, post after post. It doesn’t look like spam or fake-reading, so I wonder, is it possible wordpress would develop, in time, a tool to count also these readings? Beforehand, as I didn’t know it’s possible to actually read via web preview, I didn’t think this should be an issue, but now, although I ignore the technical aspects of it, I think it would be the time to have a more accurate counting.
Thanks!

Web Preview is just a way to see a page at a glance, no actually a full page view, so we don’t consider those as visits.

Thanks for the answer.
I know what it is used for generally. It just happened that I had a “visitor”, who read 55 pages of my blog, in a matter of hours and it really seems s/he read them, from the detailed account on statcounter. S/he spent minutes per each page or so, it seemed to be reading, not glancing. Anyways, it was a stupid question. It’s enough for me to know s/he read them, actually:)
