I’d like to link a word doc to a magazine cover in my Press tab on my website.

  Can anyone tell me how I can link a magazine article (a word doc) to a magazine cover already uploaded in my Press tab? I’d like to have an editor visit my site, click on a magazine cover and be able to see the article I wrote for that magazine.

  Hi there,

  There is not really a way to view Word docs online. To do that someone would need to download the .doc file, and open it in Word on their computer.

  Instead you may want to convert your Word doc to a PDF instead, which is a more “web-friendly” format that will allow visitors to view the document withotu downloading it.

  Once your document is converted to PDF you can use this guide to link it to an image on your site, so that if someone clicks on it (in a page or blog post) it will load the PDF automatically: https://wordpress.com/support/uploading-documents/#link-an-image-to-a-document
