I’d like to remove the bio/profile/gravatar info that readers see when they click on an individual post through the recent posts widget in the sidebar. How do I remove this “posted by” box? It doesn’t show up on the actual posting page, only when readers click on an individual post. It makes it harder for them to find the reply box, and they don’t need this info every time. The only solution I can think of so far is to delete the bio info completely.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
Just to make sure we’re on the same page, you would like to remove the bio here:
Is that correct? If so, you can remove that with the following CSS:
.author-info { display: none; }Just place that under Appearance -> Customize -> CSS. Let me know if that doesn’t work!

Yes, that is what I’d like to remove, but don’t I have to hunt down the actual css for the site and then find the appropriate place to insert the code? Surely I can’t just paste it in the box that opens up under the “Customize” button–or can I?

Yes, it did work. I didn’t know I could do it that simply. Also, browsing around, I gather that if I do something that doesn’t work (change a color, etc.), I can return to the earlier version via the “CSS Revisions” button? I wanted to experiment but wasn’t sure how to get back to square one if I got in trouble.

Yep! You can just place custom CSS under Appearance -> Customize -> CSS. You’ll just need to double-check that the selectors match the selectors on your site. We have some tips for that here:

Exactly! You can revert to an earlier CSS revision using that link. More on that here:
