i'd like to start again as i want a website rather than a blog…

  i’d like to be able to use my name in the future on wordpress yet need more time to work out how to properly build a website. and would like to delete the blog i’ve begun…but how?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  DON’T DELETE THE BLOG – THE URL / ADDRESS WILL BE LOST FOREVER

  Set the blog to “Private” to keep folks out

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Only let those I invite in to view the blog

  Note that a “blog” is a “web site” – web site tends to be more static, many people use a lot of pages – blogs tend to be more dynamic with mostly Posts

  Or do what I do – I just tell people I have a web site

  thanks, both of you for responding

  not sure, i’ve only uploaded one image so far, don’t want to loose the url though i feel it will be better if i build offline then i can upload it when i’m ready

  i feel setting it as ‘private’ while i get started sounds like a good idea and static, with the occasional post is what i was hoping to do…

  thanks for advice
