  Hi,

  I want to delete all my contents and import from my current site with the latest contents. Since I have too much content on my WordPress site now, I’d like to clean it and start a fresh import. Please help me with it.

  Hi Chrisrudzki, I know what I should do if I want to empty my site. The problem is I have more than 100K post and lots of media (more than 30GB). That’s why I ask for help.

  But if it’s the only way to do it, I’ll just do it myself.

  Hi @kaiakwen ! I hope you don’t mind me jumping in to help. 10K posts? That’s a lot ! Are you sure you really want to get rid of all of that, and the images and comments too? Note the images aren’t contained in a backup file, either; you’d need to import it into another installation first to get them.

  We will empty the site if you confirm, but this can’t be undone, so we want to be sure.

  Alternatively, you could rename the site (to yoursiteOld.wordpress.com for example), and keep the current name. That would effectively empty it out while keeping the content in a new address as a backup. And you could make that site private, too.
