I'd like to switch my domain name to wordpress.org

  I have reserved and purchased a name with wordpress.com. I haven’t started the blog but realize that I would prefer to have it with wordpress.org because I will be monetizing it. Can you help me with this?

  While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. We therefore recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:
