I'd like to try Advanced version $96 per year, I already have one registered domain, what else

    1. I already have one registered domain
    2. Whether it’s enough to start up my site after I pay $96 yearly?
    3. Do I need to pay anything else, like to buy a host server, etc?
    4. I’m thinking of that paying $96 has included all factors to set up one site when I already have a registered domain, is that right? after this, what I should do is to choose a suitable topic feature and upload my site contents, right?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Leo,

    Do read this page: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

It will give you details of what you get for different plans.

For $96, you will get Premium Plan upgrade.

WordPress.com offers you platform to build your website, with the paid plan upgrades you get additional features like custom domain name, no ads on your site, etc.

    3. Do I need to pay anything else, like to buy a host server, etc?

    – You don’t need to pay anything else for hosting or domain name.

    4. I’m thinking of that paying $96 has included all factors to set up one site when I already have a registered domain, is that right? after this, what I should do is to choose a suitable topic feature and upload my site contents, right?

    – Right! You can build your awesome site.

    — all the best,

  • Hi there,

After you buy the plan, see here for instructions on how to connect or transfer your domain to us:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

If you choose to only map your domain you’ll still need to pay your current provider for your domain’s annual renewal, but you don’t need to pay them for hosting as well as we’ll be providing your hosting.
