Can I upload a custom theme on WordPress.com?

  It is not possible to upload custom themes to WordPress.com

  You can pick any one of our more than 100 free themes, or one of our Premium themes for your blog.

  If you want to use a custom theme absolutely, then you should consider a self hosted WordPress.org installation. ( What’s the difference? )
