I'd like to view Akismet deleted 'spam'

  Hi,

  I wondered if it is possible to view comments that are picked up this way. Only some comments marked spam show up in my spam box for me to check and a few of them have not been spam in my opinion. I note that at least 40 are indicated in the akismet list but I can’t see how to view them.

  I’m wondering if some of them aren’t really spam either.

  Over 80% of all so-called comments submitted to blogs on this .wordpress.com domain every day are spam. The vast and overwhelming majority of so-called information on the internet is spam. The worst of all spam submitted as comments contains malware and viruses and could bring dom many blogs. That spam is not available to us.   I did it pretty quick but I think I did hit “spam”…it ended up back in my Spam box and then I deleted it permanently.

  I think I’ve managed to that do….it doesn’t give any “you’ve done it” message when you hit the ‘change’ button.

  If you want to be able to view the comments Akismet catches, go to Settings > Discussion and enable the option “Don’t discard spam on old posts”.
  But keep in mind that Akismet is almost always right.
