Idea for a new theme

  I’d love a theme where I could choose placement for my widgets and other stuff! (Yes: Similar to that wonderful blogger-feature…) For example: I’d like my Categories to be at the top of the page and my tag cloud on the right-hand menu.
  Wordpress is wonderful, with a lot of themes, but almost none of them allow you to change the layout. Please?

  Uh, sure you can. When you’re on the widgets page, just drag the bars around.

  I think what svajplats means is that, in blogger, you can drag everything around. In wordpress we can only change the widget positions, but blogger allows you to shift widgets into the main blogging section, or even into the headers and footers (sometimes). Hence categories would be at the top, in the header.
