Idea for a prayer list for our church website

  my church website is http://www.dallasgospelchapel.com

  I was trying to think of a way to create a prayer list inside a page that people could update and add new requests and then see a summary of all the prayer requests as well. So in my mind I see a summary view of all the prayer request an add function somewhere on the page to submit a new one and then the ability comment on current prayer requests when someone has something to update. We have an average of 100-125 active prayer requests at a time. I’ve been searching all over different church sites that are designed in wordpress and haven’t seen anything similar yet. I was hoping there was a plug-in or combination of plug-ins that might help me facilitate this. I do all the work on the site volunteer.

  Chad, there is nothing like that that can be done here at wordpress.COM, the free hosting service, as we cannot use plugins or make changes to the underlying wordpress system.

  My suggestion is to post your question at the wordpress.ORG forums (link in Sam’s post) since the self-hosted version of wordpress does not have the restrictions we do here.
