Idea for a shortcode? Open links in a new window

    Just wanted to share an idea. A html link, which opens in a new tab (“_blank”) is fairly common in use with an arrow-like tiny icon. Seeing such tiny icon simply suggest to the reader that clicking on that link will take one to a new browser window, or a tab. Wondering if WordPress may have an interest in providing such a service to everyone, so we can easily make such a link, and a tiny and common-icon show up on the posts?
