  I want to develop a website that will display the products to be sold-price,description and a buying option but the shopping will be done on another website.How can I provide the link from my website to the other website?Should I Use E-commerce plugin?Please Help quckly.Thanks!

  E-commerce isn’t possible here at WordPress.com.

  If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.

  yes i will self-host the website but i will use wordpress for developing the website.i want that when a user click the ‘Buy’ button,user should be directed to another site of my choice.how would I do that?

  This is considered e-commerce. You can use your self-hosted WordPress.org site instead.

  I understand, but we don’t allow this on WordPress.com :)

  There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog.
