Idea for WordPress.com forums

  Hey!

  I just wanted to take a moment to suggest an idea for the WordPress.com forums.

  To avoid questions for WordPress.org appearing in the WordPress.com forums, I would like to put forward the idea of a warning or hint message when the user posts a question here on the WordPress.com forums.

  For example if the user selects a WordPress.com website url from the ‘Select the blog you need help with’ dropdown then no message would be shown.

  However, if the user selects ‘None, this is a topic about using WordPress.com’ then perhaps a small message and link to more information on the differences between the two platforms could be shown.

  Whilst this won’t eliminate all WordPress.org questions in these forums it will hopefully help.
