Idea: More options when uploading images

I like the now not-so-new way that after you upload an image you get a chance to select the actual image or the thumbnail, select where it links to, and then insert the image into the post.

A further improvement would be to add the Border/Alignment/Padding options to that screen. At the moment as soon as I insert the image onto the post I then have to select it, click on the insert/edit image button, and then change the Border/Alignment/Padding options.

A very minor thing I know… but it would improve the user experience a little! Thanks for considering it!

    That would be great.

TPTB would have to figure out a way to recognise those users that have the CSS upgrade and tell that to take priority over the image upload options, but I like this idea. :)

As I think about it, that sounds like it might be a tough piece of coding if it would have to work with all the custom CSS on the skillions of wp.com sites. It doesn’t seem as big of a deal if you exclude the CSS upgraders (that may be what you’re recommending), but that would penalize the people paying for the service at the expense of those using if freely. Probably not a big deal though…

Ah, OK… I hadn’t considered the CSS issue! Oh well :)
