Ideal Plugin for Users

Wondered if this is the right place for some advice.

    First time post.

What we are looking for is a plugin that can provide us with the ability to manage users and what they see on the site. We issue out usernames and passwords to our clients manually (we email them once we have made contact). There is no self-registration process we want to offer. Once a viewer realises they need to login to gain access to certain pages they will contact us and then we can find out more about them to issue them with a password if they fit the criteria.

Users are generated by me. We need 3 types of users (maybe more in the future). User#1, User#2 and User#3.
There are 4 areas of the web site:

    1. Public viewing pages (anyone can view),
    2. Sensitive product pages (User#1 only -requires password to see this content)
    3. A specific information page (User#2 only -requires password to see content)
    4. Another specific information page (User#3 only -requires password to see content).

We need a login/logout button that opens a login page or pop up and a logout redirect.

Once logged in, the users can be taken to their unique landing pages.
Is this possible? we have this system with an old joomla! Web site which works perfectly (but is now dated).

Is it also possible to have a user to expire after a set number of months?

    Many thanks.
