Identifying orphaned pages

    I am doing maintenance on a site for someone, and noticed there are a number of pages that are not linked to on the site apparently, but are still present.

    I know they are there as when I browse the media library and select a picture they use, I can then click the View attachment page link, and see the actual page.

    But if I view the site’s page list, the same page is not in the Published, Draft, Scheduled, or Trash list. Also, the orphaned pages are not showing up on what should be the automatically generated page list on the site.

    How can I identify these pages, or how can I get the to start appearing on the page list?

    Additionally, the orphan pages can’t be seen or found by searching the page list in the wp-admin part of the site.
