Identifying Themes
-
Hey WordPress gurus
I have been plugging along trying to help keep some of the load off the real WordPress folks and keep bumping up against a wall. When i try to help with theme related questions i look into the page source code to identify which theme is in question. Thus far i have managed to misidentify “Merriweather” several times. :(
Is there a (preferably quick and easy) way to look into a crystal ball or the code in a theme to identify which one it is?
Thanks!

You don’t have a site linked to your user name so I can’t see what theme you’re using (that’s if you even have a site/theme?) Usually it’s just a matter of clicking on the three dots bottom right on a site. If they are using a current WordPress.com theme it will be named right there. Older retired themes don’t display the theme name there though. That’s when you have to dig in to inspect/view source/theme stylesheet etc etc.
PS: There is a site called whatwpthemeisthat.com but it only appears to work for .org themes.
