Identity theft
-
Hello, I am a victim of identity theft on the following two websites: https://www.yoanthony.com & https://www.myouai.fr/artistes/yoan-thony. I have repeatedly asked the administrator to remove my information from these two sites, but he refuses to do so. As a result, I filed a complaint with the police. I subsequently sent him the police report, but it has not had any effect. He still won’t stop using my identity on the Internet. I don’t know what to do. Can you please help me? I know they are using WordPress, and the authorities have told me to contact you.
Thank you

Hi there:
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. To provide clarity, it’s essential to understand the three distinct versions of “WordPress”:
Firstly, there’s the free, open-source WordPress software that serves as the backbone of your website. Secondly, WordPress.org represents the open-source project responsible for developing the WordPress software, offering it for free to users who can then utilize it on their chosen hosting provider. Lastly, there’s WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, and the platform through which you’re currently in contact.
Regarding your specific issue, I checked both sites, and it seems that neither of them are hosted here at WordPress.com. Therefore, our ability to assist you is limited. However, I suggest reaching out to My Ouai, as they appear to be hosting both URLs. You can ask them to remove any of your content from their site. For more information, you can refer to their terms and conditions: https://www.myouai.fr/cgu
If they don’t comply with your request, you might need to consider hiring legal counsel to get further assistance.
I hope this information helps you get started! Best of luck.
